American.  The Noortwyck does flavor combinations like no one else.  Over and over, you’ll experience brilliant minglings for the very first time.

I mean, how often has your burrata arrived in the company of peaches and rye?  I’d never considered this as a three way, and now I can’t get it out of my mind.

Same with chilled lobster with melon and blistered sungolds.  A fruit, seafood and vegetable paradise.

Of course they also have a total handle on entrées.  Black bass with squash blossoms has a sauce bouillabaisse that is golden spoon worthy.

And bbq duck breast with plums plus collard greens marries down home southern cooking to the likes of this fancy fowl.

The unexpected alchemy doesn’t stop at the doorstep of dessert.  Anyone can serve malted chocolate, but with salted pretzel ice cream?  It’s a tongue extravaganza you’ll not soon forget.

So is the mille feuille.  A banana, stout caramel and chocolate infused revelation.

You’ll be sampling all this artistry in chill digs populated by servers and management who are truly invested.

I had to ask how they chose their name.  Turns out it’s Dutch for North District which is what their hood was called in the way back.

Mad respect for the old timey shout out.  And just as much for their executions which are clearly anything but.
