Cuban. Dinner. Cubano cocktails. The Village. You can’t ask for more than that. Or so I thought. Within minutes, they added live music to the mix and the room went from fun to fiesta. The black sea bass, sautéed in garlic sauce, was accompanied by baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, shrimp, percussion and acoustic guitar. All wildly addictive, like their bombon of vanilla ice cream and warm chocolate cake. The server could not have been more jovial and fun loving, his mood multiplying an already excellent environment. Latin music as well as the occasional familiar gringo tune (both with vocals) kept my shoulders dancing through the night.
